here in the portland, the temperatures are dropping , the rain is increasing, and the coats are coming out. at the beginning of fall term for my university, temperatures were hitting mid to upper 90s, breaking into 100s for a few days, which were absolutely miserable for the girl from seattle, who breaks a sweat when the temps are above 65. but much to my excitement, it’s finally fall!

fall and winter are my favorite seasons, and not just because they bring guaranteed sweater weather. houses and stores are starting to smell like crisp leaves and cozy fires, clothes are getting softer, warmer, and cuter, and times away from school reunited with family are, at most, a few weeks away.  so, seeing as this time of the year is my peak season, i wanted to share some of my favorite outfits i have worn or plan to wear over these chilly times to come. i will try to link the exact pieces i own, as well as pieces that are remarkably similar, at possibly lower prices for those who, like me, now have to cut way back on extra spending (boo college.)

outfit one:
